Warranty Policy
5-Year Limited Parts Warranty and Lifetime Battery Warranty for HL Wireless welding remotes.
5-Year Limited Parts Warranty
HL Wireless Remote stands behind the quality of our products. Our wireless welding remotes are covered by a 5-Year Limited Parts Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal intended use.
The warranty period begins on the original date of purchase.
If a covered component fails because of a manufacturing defect during the warranty period, HL Wireless Remote will repair or replace the defective component at our discretion.
Repair or replacement of a component does not restart or extend the original 5-year warranty period.
What Is Covered
The 5-Year Limited Parts Warranty covers failures caused by defects in materials or workmanship under normal intended use.
Covered manufacturing defects may include:
- Internal electronic component failure caused by a manufacturing defect.
- Defective switches, controls, connectors, or other components when the failure was not caused by misuse, physical damage, improper handling, or unauthorized modification or repair.
- Manufacturing defects in the supplied welding-machine pigtail or connection cable.
- Defective solder joints or terminated wire connections determined by HL Wireless Remote to have originated during manufacturing.
All warranty claims are subject to inspection and verification by HL Wireless Remote.
What Is Not Covered
The warranty does not cover damage caused by the customer, accidents, misuse, abuse, improper handling, improper installation, normal wear and tear, or use of the product outside its intended purpose.
Warranty coverage may be denied for damage resulting from:
- Dropping, crushing, impacting, or other physical damage.
- Improper electrical connections or use with incompatible equipment.
- Water intrusion or damage caused by use beyond the product's specified water-resistance capabilities.
- Excessive force or improper handling.
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect the normal operation of the product.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Lost or stolen products.
- Damage caused during shipping to HL Wireless Remote due to inadequate packaging.
- Unauthorized modification, rewiring, repair, or alteration of the product.
Customers experiencing a problem should contact HL Wireless Remote before attempting any repair.
Pigtail / Welding Machine Connection Cable Warranty
The welding-machine pigtail or connection cable is covered against manufacturing defects in materials, solder joints, wire termination, and workmanship.
Internal wire breakage caused by pulling, twisting, excessive bending, excessive force, improper disconnection, or other customer-related damage is NOT covered under warranty.
If HL Wireless Remote determines after inspection that a solder joint, wire termination, or internal connection failed because of a manufacturing defect, the repair or replacement will be covered under the applicable warranty.
Lifetime Battery Warranty
The battery installed in the HL Wireless Remote is covered by our Lifetime Battery Warranty for as long as the original purchaser owns the original remote.
If the battery fails or can no longer function properly due to normal use, HL Wireless Remote will provide a replacement battery at no charge for the battery itself.
The Lifetime Battery Warranty does NOT cover battery damage caused by:
- Misuse or abuse.
- Physical damage.
- Improper charging.
- Electrical damage.
- Water intrusion beyond the product's specified water-resistance capabilities.
- Unauthorized modification or repair.
- Damage caused by opening, modifying, or altering the remote without prior authorization from HL Wireless Remote.
Battery warranty claims are subject to inspection and verification by HL Wireless Remote.
Battery replacement may require the remote to be sent to HL Wireless Remote for inspection and service. Customers are responsible for shipping costs to and from HL Wireless Remote.
The Lifetime Battery Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and the original remote.
